Maana Electric presents at Tech Tour Space in Bodø

Victor Goncharov presenting the Silicon Space Solar Array concept developed at Maana to investors and space industry experts.
Bodø, September 12th 2025
Maana Electric was proud to present at Tech Tour Space in Bodø, Norway, on 11–12 September, joining investors, space industry leaders, and institutional stakeholders to discuss what it will take to scale Europe’s space infrastructure.
Space missions don’t launch without power, but today, solar arrays are often one of the biggest bottlenecks: expensive, long-lead, and constrained by limited manufacturing capacity. At Tech Tour Space, we shared Maana’s approach to changing that equation with a new generation of radiation-tolerant silicon solar modules designed for the rapidly growing small satellite and CubeSat market.
We aim to make space power scalable by combining space-ready silicon cell technology, high module coverage, and manufacturing methods borrowed from high-volume terrestrial PV, we aim to deliver solar modules with dramatically shorter lead times and significantly lower costs, while enabling lightweight and flexible designs that support modern deployment concepts.
