AUTOMATED CONTROL ENGINEER

Your mission

As an Automated Control Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of the control systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts to drive innovation and contribute to the success of our groundbreaking projects.

Your tasks

• Design and implement control systems for various types of industrial automated equipment.
• Conduct testing of the designed subsystems, post-data analysis with theoretical and experimental data and writing reports.
• Troubleshooting of control system, including electric wiring.
• Collaborating with specialists in other disciplines to support their control and automation needs and integration into the monitoring and control subsystem.
• Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve and create the solutions to meet the expected performance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and safety protocols in all activities.

What you need to succeed

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering/Computer Science/Automation Engineering or related engineering field. Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• You have 2+ years of work experience in the design and implementation of control systems.
• Experience with networking protocols (Modbus, Profibus, ProfiNet, PCI, etc).
• Experience with the design of high-level Scada/HMI automation systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.
• Ability to read electrical documentation and orientation in control cabinets.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• In terms of languages, you must have good written and effective oral communication in English. Other languages are considered an asset.
• You have strong work ethics and passion to set and meet high performance standards.
• You have an agile, growth-oriented mindset and you are particularly motivated to bring the best experience to Maana.

Preferably you have

Experience with the following:

• PLC programming, more specifically for Siemens products, and user interfaces.
• Assembly lines and process control systems (e.g. heating system, etc).
• Python and C#.
